Job Summary:
The Tractor Driver is responsible for supporting the upkeep, appearance, and seasonal operations of the grounds at Port Farms Special Events, LLC, and K&G Adventures. This is a hands-on, outdoor role focused on landscaping and general labor, and routine facility maintenance to keep the property clean, well-maintained, and guest-ready throughout the season. This position operates primarily outdoors in a working farm environment with exposure to weather conditions, machinery, livestock, dust, and uneven terrain. Seasonal peak operations may require extended hours.
Roles include: Tractor Driver
Primary Responsibilities:
• Maintain landscaping and grounds using hand tools; weeding, raking, edging, watering, mulching, and planting.
• Assist with handplanting, cultivating, and harvesting crops and garden beds according to seasonal schedules.
• Perform general property cleanup and keep walkways, common areas, and attraction grounds tidy and guest-ready.
• Help with light setup, teardown, and property preparation for festivals, seasonal attractions, and special events.
• Assist with maintenance tasks; including but not limited to wiping down chairs and tables, sanitizing public seating, pick up trash, empty trash cans, replace liners, clean bathrooms.
• Parking crew is responsible for directing and parking traffic safely and efficiently.
• Tractor Drivers should safely transport guests on the Wagon Ride, via Tractor.
• Provide support to cross-functional teams during peak seasons as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• Having a willingness to learn, no prior experience necessary.
• Reliable, with a positive attitude and the ability to follow safety instructions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends during peak seasons, within legal hour limits for minors.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Work Schedule:
• Seasonal, fast-paced agritainment and food service environment.
• Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Requires flexibility, including weekends, holidays, and peak festival periods
